  1. Interactive Linear Programming: Allows anyone with access to the Web to submit a linear program and have it solved using Simplex or another algorithm.
  2. Motion Planning using Java: Demonstrates planar robot motion planning algorithms in Java.
  3. Guest Book Database Tracking: Allows users to create customized guestbooks which store guest data in a Relational Database. Second Prize !
  4. Earthquake Web Database Project: Gives access to Earthquake data using a clickable map.
  5. On-line Residential Energy Audit: The residential energy audit provides users with information on electricity consumption in their homes. Users provide data on appliances, residence, and behavioral characteristics: consumption patterns and customized energy saving tips are returned.
  6. Repository Manager: Addresses the problem of load balancing for WWW servers with custom flow control and Java-based performance monitoring. First Prize !
  7. BargainHunter: Compare prices and properties of consumer appliances using a Relational Database.
  8. The Jacquard Loom TeleRobotic Site: Java interface for viewing quilts and tapestries with a tele-robotic camera. Third Prize !
  9. Comparison of Commercial RDBMS's: WWW-based comparison of features from 4 RDBMS: Access, Informix, Oracle and Sybase.
  10. Vend-O-Rama : Allows a machinist or designer to specify material and properties (yield strength or cost per pound): returns available materials and vendors using a Relational Database.
  11. Engineering Economic Analysis: Solves financial timeline problems interactively.
