Spring 1996
Professor: Ken Goldberg
Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) Dept,
University of California at Berkeley

In this graduate course we consider new issues in data management and the World Wide Web. To supplement the Database text, we study research papers and review WWW sites. We study the relational database models and explore current research topics in the field, such as methods for searching the WWW. Team research projects will either be comparative surveys or implementations of new interface technology involving cgi-bin scripts and java.
